How are buttons used in a Bead Store?

JHB Buttons are used for closures on bracelets and necklaces. They can also be used as embellishments on many kinds of jewelry. Instead of having a boring closure, the button now becomes a decorative part of your project. In most cases, the buttons are used with your beads to make a necklace or bracelet.
Is it possible for me to see JHB Buttons in person and place an order that way?

Yes, we have independent representatives throughout the United States. Contact us with all the details of your store and the Representative will contact you to set up a convenient appointment.
Does JHB International sell their buttons to consumers?

NO, we are a wholesale company with high quality buttons selling at a reasonable price to the independent bead store. You must have a business license and place a minimum opening order of $100 or more. Unlike many bead companies, JHB International does not sell to consumers. The consumer must visit a recognized JHB Bead store carrying our buttons.
What is the best way to display JHB Buttons?

Many bead stores display our buttons in their regular trays. Some stores display the button based on what they are made of. For example, glass buttons with glass beads. Or you can buy the acrylic 4-tier display pictured on our Home Page. This clear high-quality display elevates the buttons and gives them much more exposure.
After we purchase JHB Buttons, can our web site be linked on the JHB Web Site?

In the future, we plan to have links to bead stores carrying a full line of JHB Buttons. We do not have an exact estimate yet on when this will happen. Please contact us if you wish to get on this future list, after your first purchase.
What is the history of JHB International, Inc.?

We started business in 1969 and are based in Denver, Colorado. We started selling to Bead Stores when we called on six (6) bead stores in the Denver area, and they purchased anywhere from $200 to $900 of JHB Buttons. It is then that we decided to go national.
What is the turnover or sell through of JHB in Bead Stores?

It is not quite as fast as your regular beads, but JHB buttons add a new dimension in the bead store, giving your customers more choices for projects. Turnover is based on how you display the buttons, do you conduct Classes using JHB Buttons, do you have samples visible to your customers, and do you provide project sheets using JHB Buttons.
Do you have a newsletter available?

Yes, we will have a quarterly newsletter coming out in the very near future. This newsletter will include projects, retail sales tips, and promotions. It will only be quarterly and we will not share your e-mail address with any outside companies.  Please contact us to sign up.
What books do you recommend to get ideas for projects using buttons?

There are several high quality books using buttons with beads. One good one is “Beautiful Button Jewelry” by Susan Davis (Published in 2005 by Sterling Publishing Co., Inc.)
What if I wish to purchase a pre-selected assortment of top sellers to bead stores?

On our home page is a grouping of 24 styles of JHB Buttons, 2 dozen each, along with an attractive upscale acrylic display. Or you can click through and choose your own buttons from our web site.
Is JHB International, Inc easy to do business with?

We grant automatic 30 day terms for orders under $300.00. Or you can place it on your credit card (Master Card or Visa). We ship usually via UPS Ground from our huge warehouse in Denver Colorado. Orders are shipped within 24-48 hours in most cases. For other orders, we may request 3 credit references. PH: 800-525-9007 to place your order.
Does JHB International, Inc. participate in any Bead Shows?

No, many consumers attend these shows and our market is the independent bead store. If you wish to display JHB Buttons at a Show, we encourage you to do this.
Does JHB International accept a completed piece using your buttons with our beads?

We are very curious on original pieces you may make using JHB Buttons. We will give you written credit only for anything you submit. Your project could be featured in the future on the www. buttonsforbeadstores.com home page! How fun is that?
What are JHB Buttons made of?
